Tuesday so it must be my blog day  Day 50 – Mar 26

Taran caught up with his blogs and school work and diary.

I wrote a long work email.

I caught up with my blog.

Jo caught up with her blog and correspondence.

We like our blog but it takes discipline.

Taran and I practised Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing which we are trying to do every day.

We went to a backpacker place in town for burgers and pool for lunch.  Taran won both games but only because I fouled on the black after some spectacular potting.

We discovered that we needed to renew our visas at the Thai border so are planning next weekend in Thailand!

Quite a few crickets landed on our patio and Taran photographed the biggest one.

Jo and Taran went to the Civic aerobic class in the park.  Taran played football with the daughter of the instructor.  After the class Jo and Taran played badminton.

We cooked fried rice with egg and left over salsa which was not very popular with Jo who is a little tired of rice.

I drank quite a few beers;  it is a thrill and a temptation to have our own refrigerated supply and I slightly failed the test.

I will not write just to fill up the page and it is very hot. I am tired after 3 hours teaching with no fan (power cut). My sweat smudged the whiteboard as I wrote everybody's names down.

Maybe we are feeling a little homesick.
