Friday missed the thirteenth; but we - it seems - didn't...

Friday 12th April 2019 (Day 67).

I woke this morning still feeling groggy and sick from the unpleasant taste of home-cooked minestrone fused with stomouche acid still in my mouth and all the way down the back of my throat due to the previous night's 'regurgitating episode' (the roof tiles below our balcony remain covered in a green, sticky substance (Ehhhhwwww). Not leaving much opportunity for a incredible following day; which, I suppose, explains why the day was what it was...

As suggested in the introduction, today was yet another weary, homesick, confused day (although Father still seemed to be having a moderately exhilarating time).
To start off the day we had a hearty breakfast at the Kinyie (pronounced kin-wa) cafe followed by Father making a visit to a local Buddhist temple (he said that it looked surprisingly dusty for such a respected - and well funded - monument/project); whilst Mother and I stayed home for we felt rather unwell, tired, hot and homesick, although we did also manage to accomplish a touch of work.
Then, a while after Father got back, it began to pour down, rather dramatically, just as Father and I were swimming! (Causing a prompt power cut).

I must also apologise for forgetting to publish - or indeed reveal - a mystery photograph in my last post; anyhow, the last mystery photograph was a close up of Father's ear.
Whereas, today's is...

  1. When did you start calling your parents Father and Mother? It makes you sound like a Victorian boy writing about parents you only see at meals when you only allowed to be seen and not heard. Somehow it doesn’t suit the picture I have of you in my mind, especially the seen and not heard part lol
So sorry you are sick and homesick🤢

  2. Is the secret photo a refrigerator?
