Some of our favourite things about Kefalonia and why we keep returning...

The spectacular views everywhere, the sea and its turquoise blue, our cove, Greek food - saganaki (Oriana), greek salad (Kelty), yogurt and honey, the smell of the wild herbs, the spring flowers, the sound of the goat bells on their evening walk down the hill, the shepherd with his long white beard who never seems to look any older, Foki Bay and its shade of Olive trees, the feast at Odysseus, smiling Suab, the frozen yoghurt, cooking the biscuits on the beach fire,  the mosquitoes (Taran), the familiarity (Cecily), bird calls (Casper),  snorkelling for starfish (Melelev), space (Melelev).
