Rain Day
Friday 18th May 2019 (Day 93)
Wet, wet, WET!
Absolutely everything left
uncovered; from awning to laundry, from laundry to larder, soaked to bone and
enveloped in mysteriously murky slime.
It was supposed to rain today (not last night) so we thought it safe to
leave everything out, we were horribly wrong.
Thankfully, due to the
(incorrect) weather forecast, we had planned for a day of working, and that’s
exactly what we executed…
Dad started his day with a
tremendously long cycle ride to the supermarket and back, while mum and I got
cracking with our diaries.
As soon as Dad had returned
and began blogging Mum (the trainee) and I (the trainer) went for a run, doing
a few drills along the way.
The tranquillity and allure
of the scene with which we were currently engaged, I compliment Mum, was an
excellent excuse to stop running and stare although the pleasant psithurism
kept the dissatisfied trainer ‘content’.
Bedtime tonight was an
alarming 11pm!
