Ode to Sapa

Your flamboyant green pursues skyline so distant,

cloned platforms of rice; 

such cultivation emphasises resistance, 

so hard to get right.

From thy pot bellied pig of infinite sweetness,

to thy chicks' chirp perfection;

and your giant great valleys enhanced with flowing neatness,

giving good moral direction.

This trekking of yours

brings both hardships and joy;

just as the sun rises,

just as the sun ploys (your emotions),

you emit good vibrations.

And, whispers, 

of life.
